This Privacy Policy describes how Cookitt (the "Application") handles your information. By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
The Application is designed to help you manage recipes and ingredients. To provide its features, it may access certain functions of your device.
The Application requires access to your device's camera to enable the recipe scanning and Text Recognition (OCR) features. Camera data is processed locally on your device or via Google ML Kit to extract text. We do not store your raw photos on our servers unless you explicitly choose to upload a photo to your personal recipe library.
When you create an account, we store your email address and profile information provided via Firebase Authentication. This is used to sync your recipes across devices.

Your recipe data and preferences are stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage). We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
